Compression Stockings

Anyone, at any age, can develop painful leg-health problems. Long periods on our feet at work, varicose or spider veins, phlebitis (blood clots occurring often in the legs), deep vein thrombosis, venous insufficiency, post-surgical edema, and pregnancy are some of the conditions that can really benefit from compression therapy.

Graduated compression stockings and socks are designed to provide support to the legs and veins, assist with circulation, and minimize swelling. The compression is graduated, with the strongest support at the ankles. Gradually decreasing towards the top of the garment. Compression is categorized by different levels of mmHg-millimeters of mercury. Mobility 1st has their own certified fitter, who takes your measurements accurately, either in store or at your home, to ensure a proper fit. Airway Surgical offers many forms of graduated compression therapy, from socks, to stockings and hosiery. They come in various sizes, styles and colours.

Mobility 1st Ltd has multiple certified fitters on staff who are available to assist you at any time. Appointments are not required, but it is best to visit us early in the morning for optimal measurements. If you are unable to come to us, please contact us for a free in-home measurement.
